Kristine Kirkeby is a freelance scientific illustrator with an education in biology and fine arts. She was Director of Biological Sciences Art Services at the University of Minnesota where she did scientific illustration, photography, and graphic design.
Kris has over 20 years of experience as a freelance natural science illustrator. She also teachings workshops and teaches classes in nature drawing, drawing journals and sketchbooks, and basic drawing for colleges, community art and nature centers schools, and schools. She also designs a K-12 curricula called Art and the Natural World. She lives in Eugene, Oregon.
